Who can join
Sermo is for current University of Manchester students. Sign up with your @manchester.ac.uk email address; we send a link to confirm it.
Signing in
Forgot your password? Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and we will email you a reset link.
Report content or a user
Tap Report on any question, answer, poll or module tip, or open the … menu on a profile or chat and choose Report user. Moderators review reports and aim to act within 24 hours. Content that breaks the Terms of Service is removed, and the accounts that post it are suspended or banned.
Block someone
Open the … menu on their profile or your chat with them and choose Block user. They are removed from your matches and chats and cannot reach you.
Delete your account
In the app, go to Settings and tap Delete my account. This removes your profile, matching data, messages, posts and profile photo straight away. If you can no longer sign in, email support@sermocampus.com from your university address and we will delete the account within 30 days.

In an emergency
Sermo is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999.
